The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is globally recognized as the most authoritative evaluation of corporate sustainability, assessing companies across economic, environmental, and social dimensions. Only the top 10% of performers in each industry earn a spot as a DJSI constituent. In 2024, Giant Group proudly joined the DJSI Emerging Markets Index, becoming the first company in the global bicycle industry to earn a place on this prestigious list. The assessment results revealed that Giant Group ranked within the top 6% of the leisure equipment and consumer electronics industry category for its outstanding performance in environmental, social, and economic governance, far surpassing industry averages in multiple indicators. The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is the world's largest environmental information disclosure and tracking data center, evaluating corporate data disclosure on three major environmental themes (climate change, water resources, and forests). Giant Group received a B rating in the 2024 CDP Climate Change Questionnaire, while its Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) earned the highest A rating. Only 7% of companies worldwide received this distinction, highlighting Giant Group’s leadership and global influence in climate governance and supply chain management.

FTSE Russell, a subsidiary of the London Stock Exchange, has nearly 20 years of experience in ESG ratings. Its ESG rating system is built around three core pillars—Environment, Social, and Governance—covering 14 key themes and evaluated through over 300 indicators, offering a highly data-driven and customizable approach. In 2024, Giant Group achieved an ESG rating of 3.1 (on a scale of 0–5, with 5 being the best), earning inclusion in the FTSE4Good Index Series. This recognition highlights the Group’s consistent efforts and solid performance across ESG dimensions, reinforcing its growing international reputation in sustainable development.

Sustainalytics, a leading global ESG rating agency under the U.S.-based Morningstar Group, evaluates over 14,000 companies worldwide. Its rating methodology is built on three modules, with a core focus on material ESG issues, assessing corporate performance based on risk management. In this system, lower scores indicate lower ESG risk. In 2024, Giant Group achieved ESG risk scores of 9.6 in the first half and 11.61 in the second half of the year, both classified as “Negligible Risk”, the highest rating tier. These results reflect the Group’s strong resilience and commitment to sustainable development.
- TIP Taiwan ESG Index
The TIP Taiwan ESG Index, jointly developed by Taiwan Index Plus (TIP) and FTSE Russell, aims to evaluate the sustainability performance of Taiwan-listed companies across three key dimensions: Environment, Social, and Governance. Based on the Taiwan constituents of the FTSE4Good Emerging Markets Index, the index selects eligible companies using financial indicators and the publication of sustainability reports. It serves as a key reference for domestic institutional investors in promoting sustainable investment. Giant Group was officially included as a constituent of the 2025 TIP Taiwan ESG Index, recognizing the Group’s strong ESG performance and growing influence in sustainable development.
- Taiwan Sustainability Rating
The Taiwan Sustainability Rating, developed by National Taipei University and adopted by Taiwan Index Plus (TIP) under the guidance of the Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC), is a key ESG benchmark in Taiwan’s capital market. Using the SEED framework—Social, Economic, Environmental, and Disclosure—it evaluates companies’ sustainability performance with academic independence and global alignment. In 2024, Giant Group earned an AA rating, the highest among listed bicycle companies and a top performer in Taiwan’s consumer discretionary sector—highlighting its leadership and long-term commitment to sustainability.
Recognition

The Green Factory Certificate is awarded by local governments in China to promote the transformation of traditional manufacturing toward high-end, intelligent, and eco-friendly development. The certification process includes voluntary application, third-party evaluation, government review, and expert validation, aiming to strengthen green management and transparency in support of industrial modernization.
The Asia Sustainability Reporting Awards is a non-profit initiative that promotes and recognizes corporate excellence in sustainability reporting, disclosure, and transparency. It includes 17 categories, with the 2024 winners announced in March 2025. Giant Group stood out with its 2023 ESG Report, earning a spot as a Finalist in the 'Asia’s Best Materiality Reporting' category among hundreds of submissions and notably as the only finalist from the bicycle industry. This recognition highlights our professionalism and transparency in materiality analysis, as acknowledged by the international judging panel.
Corporate Knights, a Canadian media and research organization, has conducted strict sustainability assessments for the listed companies with a global revenue exceeding US$1 billion for 21 consecutive years. In 2025, Giant Group has been awarded an impressive 33rd place among 8,359 candidate corporations worldwide. This marks the third consecutive year that Giant Group has been selected for this prestigious award, solidifying its position as the top-ranked bicycle-related company globally. The company's consistent recognition across various assessment criteria is a testament to its unwavering commitment to sustainability.
