Meet the Enviro Eyewear
  • Intro
Our new riding glasses, like Liv's AGOS Eyewear, are equipped with recycled carbon fiber and PA11 frames to enhance both rigidity and durability and protect your eyes with style.
  • Materials
As carbon fiber is a common material in the bicycle industry, Giant Group has been researching how to use recycled carbon fiber. We have combined rCARBON with Renewable Casted Oil, a high-performance polymer from renewable castor oil, to make the frames more flexible.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Saddle
  • Intro
Many of the components currently used in saddle manufacturing can be replaced with low-carbon materials. Many of our bikes' saddles, like the Giant Romero, use a combination of recycled materials.
  • Materials
Based on the attributes of each product, we selected suitable low-carbon materials for our Enviro saddles, such as rCF, rGF, rSteel, and rPP.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Tires
  • Intro
Tires need to be replaced often because they are constantly in contact with the ground. So our Enviro tires, like Giant's Crosscut Grip 1, are the perfect mix of sustainability and performance, maintaining high standards of durability, grip, and weight.
  • Materials
Seawastex is an innovative nylon material made of recycled fishing nets recovered from the seas, which reduces carbon footprint by up to 9% compared to virgin nylon production.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Helmet
  • Intro
The Enviro helmets, like Giant's and Liv's Rev Elite, have superior shock absorption capabilities, so you stay protected while we also protect the planet.
  • Materials
As traditional EPS is not eco-friendly, we created our own rEPS, containing at least 50% post-consumer recycled content from upcycled automotive foam. It can be decomposed and recycled at the end of its lifespan.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Bottle Cage
  • Intro
Giant Group repurposes ghost nets abandoned in the ocean into durable water bottle cages, like Giant's Airway. Keep the oceans’ water clean while securing your water bottle.
  • Materials
Collaborating with local recyclers, we sort, cleanse, and refine Recycled Nylon pellets, slashing CO2 emissions by 54%.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Grip
  • Intro
Our Enviro grips transform waste into superior handlebar control. Featuring patterns and a half-waffle design for a soft feel and flexibility in every condition, grips like Giant's Tactal Pro provide superior comfort and safety.
  • Materials
We use GRS-certified post-consumer recycled PCR combined with Recycled Aluminum rings. These eco-friendly materials have passed relevant tests, such as exposure to UV light, to provide the same safety standards.
  • Where to find
Meet the Enviro Bar Tape
  • Intro
Bar tapes are a consumable product, so at Giant Group we manufacture our bar tapes, like the Eco Stratus Pro, using recycled materials while maintaining the same standards of performance and safety.
  • Materials
We use GRS-certified rPP for the mesh layer in the middle of our bar tape, while the base layer is made from Bioplastics (bamboo and rice husk).
