Giant Group CEO Young Liu Leads the Team in Celebrating World Bicycle Day

In 2018, the United Nations declared June 3rd as "World Bicycle Day" to encourage everyone to enjoy cycling and to highlight its positive impact on a healthy life, social community, and sustainable transportation.

In response to the UN's declaration of "World Bicycle Day," Giant Group participated in the "2024 World Bicycle Day - Ride Around Taiwan and Response Event" hosted by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications on June 1, 2024. Our CEO Young Liu led the team members to join the ride, demonstrating their passion for cycling. This event also used a designated app to map the cycling routes across Taiwan.

The nationwide cycling route is divided into 46 sections, each coordinated with agencies under the Ministry of Transportation and local governments. Giant Group has been participating in this event for many years. This year, the route covers two sections. The first section, approximately 25 kilometers long and registered by volunteering employees, runs from the southern bank of Nanshih Creek to the end of the Daan Coastal Bike Path. The second section, led by CEO Young Liu, spans about 20 kilometers from the end of the Daan Coastal Bike Path to Houli Horse Ranch.

This event not only fosters team spirit but also provides participants with the joy of cycling and the breathtaking scenery along the way.
